With deep roots in the Philippines—drawing heritage from the Ibaloy people of the Northern Cordilleran Mountains in Benguet and the Tagalog culture of central Luzon—Wilson brings a powerful sense of history and identity into his artistic journey. Now residing in New South Wales, his path into tattooing was shaped by a lifelong love for visual art and a defining childhood moment that sparked a promise to one day become a tattoo artist. Specialising in Burik, also known as Batok hand-tapping, Wilson’s work honours an ancient tattooing practice rooted in the Cordilleran region of the Philippines. This collection celebrates cultural storytelling, tradition, and respect for ancestral art—offering a meaningful way to experience designs inspired by history and heritage before committing to permanent ink.
